Enjoy a journey in stages through the city’s most important historical periods and landmarks. Between invasions and battles, lordships and great artists, Milan has evolved and expanded its horizons to become an internationally-renowned economic center as well as the capital of the Italian fashion and design. In the city center don’t miss the cathedral (Duomo) and San Maurizio al Monastero, which is known to be the equivalent of the Cappella Sistina in Milan. Other symbols of the city are the Sforzas’ Castle and the paintings gallery (Pinacoteca) in Brera. After a walk in this district, the art journey continues at the Cenacolo Vinciano and closes strolling from the Navigli to Porta Romana through the Darsena. In these surroundings don’t forget to check out Vicolo Lavandai for a time trip that will bring you back to the 50s.\
